Artemis Polymer Processing has three compounding lines, two Leistritz twin-screw compounding machines and a continuous mixer, as well as a Gala Underwater Pelletizer. We custom compound to your specifications. We can compound flame-retardants, UV stabilizers, laser-marking additives, or any other special needs that your polymer requires.

Artemis Polymer Processing can custom design materials that will meet the performance requirements of your parts. We test our compounds in our laboratory or, if you need certification from an AL2A certified laboratory, we will have Akron Rubber Development Laboratory provide the necessary testing and documentation for you. Artemis Polymer Processing is able to test your polymer in our Q Panel weather tester, which simulates accelerated sunlight, moisture, and weather exposure. We also can test your polymers for moisture content, as well as test durometer, impact strength, ash content, and melt flow.

Artemis Polymer Processing specializes in compounding engineering materials, especially very soft polymers and high heat polymers, as well as polyurethanes, polycarbonates, polyphenylene ethers, and thermoplastic olefins (TPO’s, TPV’s, etc.).
